
CHRIS ROMERO
H&S Specialist / Field Supervisor
Mr. Romero has 35 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including 15 years of offshore experience and work in shipyards. His career has involved international travel and certifications as an ABS/ISM Marine Internal Auditor. Chris has served as Lead HSE for the largest renewable hydrogen energy storage “drilling” project associated with the U.S. Department of Energy. He has also worked on multiple plants and mines, including MSHA drilling operations. In his role as Project Manager, HSE, and Operations, Chris has managed vessel repair and maintenance, overseen vessel dry docking and shipyard work, and prepared vessels for annual inspections by the coast guard, the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), and Lloyd’s of London.
