VP OF GEOLOGY OPERATIONS / UIC Permitting Manager
Chad, has a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from Wichita State University, and a Bachelor of Art degree in Chemistry from Emporia State University. Chad is a Licensed Geologist in the states of Kansas, Illinois and Louisiana. Chad has nearly 25 years of experience in the environmental field that includes working for the United States Geological Survey, Big Bend Groundwater Management District #5, the City of Wichita, Kansas, and Total Petroleum. Chad has 15 years of experience in the environmental consulting field working as a client service manager for solid waste companies, chemical manufacturing plants, agricultural co-operatives, municipalities, and state agencies, where he provided solutions to complex regulatory problems. His experience includes RCRA permitting and compliance, groundwater investigation and remediation involving multiple responsible parties and contaminants. Chad has extensive UIC permitting and regulatory compliance experience with Class I, II, III, and V facilities, relating to porosity/depleted formation gas storage, industrial/ produced water disposal, LPG storage facilities, solution mined salt production, and innovative solution mined salt cavern beneficial re-use stabilization projects. Chad is actively involved with the National Groundwater Association and the Groundwater Protection Council, where he has given presentations related to UIC projects in Kansas and Illinois; and is a former Board of Director for the Kansas Ground Water Association.
